Manaslu Region
Manaslu Region is the land of one of the Eight Thousander Peaks, Mt. Manaslu (8163m). This region comprises of the restricted area where the foreign trekkers need a special permit to enter.
This region offers some of the best destinations to be visited in Nepal. Despite gaining popularity in recent days after tea houses were opened since 2010, this region is still less crowded in comparison to other treks of Everest and Annapurna region. The restricted villages of Manaslu and Tsum valley shows a different culture of people living outside the hustle and bustles of town. The main reason for keeping these areas restricted is for conservation of nature and culture from outside pressure and influences.
