Waking up early in the morning, you will follow the elephants to the grasslands, where the mahouts cut and collect the grass for the elephants to eat during the day. Depending on the different season, this experience may vary. The morning times are often misty that gives a magnificent view of elephants walking through the grass. Enjoying a hot cup of tea, feel free to chat with your naturalist about the local wildlife and ecosystem. Optionally, you can also learn the grass cutting and binding technique from mahouts, if you are interested.
Upon returning to the camp, you will get to enjoy the breakfast and rest of the morning, you can watch mahouts preparing Kuchis (Elephant Sandwich) and also learn to make it. Lunch will be served around noon and you can take some rest and relaxation with the elephants in the hot midday hours.
In the late afternoon, when the weather is pleasant, move out with the elephants and their mahouts for a walk in the jungle. Walking side by side to the elephants, you can watch their movements, their communication methods with other elephants, and eating behavior while free in the jungle. You will most likely encounter tiger tracks, deer, various bird species, and rhino too, depending on the route followed.
