The next day, a short walk down up to Khopasi will take you to your vehicle for return (you can choose to hike up to Panauti too). After spending some time at Panauti to see the local Newari culture, you will drive back to your Kathmandu hotel.
Best time to do this trip
The best time to do this hike will be around September and October, right after monsoon ends. The weather will be clear and the muddy trails will also get slightly dried up. You will be able to enjoy the rice paddy field farmed in the terraced land and post-monsoon lush greenery around.
