Ama Dablam Expedition
Trip Overview
Mt. Ama Dablam is one of the greatest attractions of the Everest Region which contributes a lot in showing the true beauty of nature from the trekking trail to EBC. The name has been derived from Sherpa community language where "Ama" means "Mother" and "Dablam" refers to a pendant type necklace worn by Sherpa women. Moreover, it's often said that watching this mountain makes feel like a mother is protecting her child with a long arm.
Despite being just 6812m high, climbing this mountain requires a good level of rock and ice climbing skills. If you are a novice climber, climbing few easy peaks like Mera Peak or Island Peak is advised.
